To receive a discount, you must prebook online with the discount code FM6CU or call 1-800-258-3826. After you claim your luggage, follow the directions listed below for any of the airports.

 

Los Angeles (LAX): Claim your luggage, proceed outside and look for the grey/white “Shared Ride Van” sign located on the inside curb. Contact the guest service representative dressed in a blue SuperShuttle uniform, and he/she will assist with your transportation needs. Receive a $2 discount off shared ride from LAX ($16 normal rate).

FBLA NLC Freeman Service Kit

 

Improve your mobile texting skills and win cash prizes by competing in the FBLA National Texting Championships Monday, July 1, 2013, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.! FBLA students are eligible to compete in the following seven modes: Alphabetic, Numbers–123 Pad, Numbers–Numbers Pad, Emoticons [Kaomoji], Words, Texting Abbreviations, and Translations–mobile texting competition. A separate competition will be available for advisers. Cash prizes will be awarded to students for each mode and $250 for overall FBLA National Texting Champion. However, students may win in only one mode, but are also eligible for the overall championship. One student and one adviser with the most points overall will be declared FBLA National Texting Overall Champions and awarded a cash prize.

 

No preregistration is required. Instructions and further details will be provided on site. To participate, students must have an iPhone or Android, game downloadable, mobile phone.

National Anthem Singers: We are looking for a PBL member and an FBLA member to sing the national anthem his/her respective NLC. Interested performers should make a demo CD or MP3 and send to Jane Anderson by May 11, 2013 by mail or e-mail.

Include your name, school, e-mail address, phone number, and which NLC you will be attending. A music specialist will review all CDs and MP3s. Participants are encouraged to perform the anthem in traditional a cappella style. The deadline for receipt of auditions is May 11. Audition demos will not be returned.
