Institute for Leaders (IFL)
IFL is a separate conference held immediately before the NLC. It’s where you will find FBLA-PBL’s most dedicated members, outstanding speakers, and powerful business leadership training. This year’s IFL is designed to celebrate innovative leadership and the dreamers of today destined to be the doers of tomorrow! Click here for a detailed description.

Hotels
Please Note: States must stay at designated NLC conference hotels per the FBLA-PBL Board of Directors. There are many reasons why this is required: cost of meeting space, room setup charges, and penalties for not filling all rooms contracted. In addition, chapters benefit by staying in a designated NLC conference hotel through networking opportunities and negotiated services (e.g., discounted or complimentary Internet, discounted parking, discounted meals, etc.).

Exhibitors & Workshop Presenters
Airport Shuttle
San Antonio Transportation operates a shared ride airport shuttle to and from the conference hotels. A one-way trip is $17 and a round-trip is $30. Click here to book now!
A ticket booth is located inside each terminal next to baggage claim. Please go to the ticket booth and give the ticket agent your confirmation number. The shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes from the airport.

Tour Refund Policy
If it is necessary to cancel tour tickets, please do so online no later than June 8. There will be no refunds after June 8. A confirmation will be e-mailed to you once you make a reservation. Tour tickets should be picked up at the tour desk located at the Marriott Rivercenter.
NEW! Community Service Activities
Volunteer while in San Antonio and leave a positive lasting legacy of FBLA-PBL for our host city! Activities have been planned with various San Antonio organizations and range from mulching to helping wounded veterans and their families. There are several locations, days, and times to choose from! While transportation is not provided, many of these volunteer sites are in the downtown area and accessible via public transportation. (Please note that FBLA students must be accompanied by an adviser/chaperone.)

Do you sing? We are looking for a PBL member and an FBLA member to sing the national anthem at their respective NLCs. Interested performers should make a demo CD or MP3 and send to janderson@pdcproductions.com or Jane Anderson, PDC Productions, 3217 North Flood Avenue, Norman, OK 73069, along with your name, school, e-mail address, phone number, and which NLC you will be attending. A music specialist will review all CDs and MP3s. Participants are encouraged to perform the anthem in traditional style. The deadline for receipt of auditions is Friday, May 11. Audition demos will not be returned.

Visit the Silent Auction on June 26 (PBL) and July 1 (FBLA). A variety of items including gift baskets and hotel packages will be available for bidding, with proceeds going to student and adviser recognition programs.
REMINDER! Each state is asked to donate a gift basket or gift item to the FBLA and PBL silent auctions. When packaging gift baskets, please supply a visible list of the contents. Click here for the form.
