Commerce Bank Specalist Awarded Outstanding Businessperson Plaque

On Wednesday, April 16, 2008, Michael Noll, Education Outreach Specialist with Commerce Bank, was awarded a plaque for Outstanding Businessperson of the Year. Mr. Noll has been involved with the Pennsauken campus’ Future Business Leaders for the last three years. The first two years, he presented a workshop on Business Ethics.  This year in February he stepped it up with a workshop entitled “Leadership Basics”. Co-chairs, Natalie Munoz, Kelly-Ann Tacore, and Vanna Vandergrift presented a plague to Michael and also gave him a copy of their award-winning Partnership with Business report.

These girls represented the Camden County Technical School—Pennsauken Campus’ Future Business Leaders chapter at the state FBLA conference. Their competition was Partnership with Business Project.  On March 13, 2008, Natalie, Kelly-Ann, and Vanna presented their oral and PowerPoint presentation at the New Jersey State Leadership Conference. This conference was held on March 13 and 14 at the Raritan Convention Center in Edison, New Jersey. Only the top five chapters from all the high schools in New Jersey are invited to present their oral presentations before a panel of judges. The girls received their first-place plague at the awards ceremony on March 14.

Natalie, Kelly-Ann, and Vanna are looking forward to representing; not only their school, but the entire state of New Jersey at the National FBLA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia the end of June. There the girls will compete against other first-place winning teams from each state in the union.
