On Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, Subway, HyVee, and EcoWater Systems partnered with Midland Lutheran College PBL in Nebraska to host the fifth Annual Entrepreneurship Day. Entrepreneurship Day has been a consistent program on the Midland Lutheran College cam pus for the past four years. Entrepreneurship Day is a chance for local high schools to capitalize on and highlight the talents of their students, and for the students to utilize the skills they are learning in the classroom and apply them in real-life situations. During the day, students take on the challenge of creating their own business.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to test their financial, ethical, and entrepreneurial skills; while completing a variety of tasks that were designed to examine the students’ quality of work and creativity. Not only will the students be given a variety of difficult tasks to overcome, but they will work in teams with students whom they have just met.
