Local Georgia chapters celebrate American Free Enterprise Day

Moultrie, Georgia Mayor Bill McIntosh signed a proclamation declaring Nov. 15, 2007, American Free Enterprise Day with the encouragement of Moultrie Technical College's Moultrie PBL chapter and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapters from Colquitt County High School and Williams Middle School.

The association promotes leadership and business careers in the schools. PBL and FBLA chapters across the country also observe Nov. 15, as American Free Enterprise Day as a time to celebrate the opportunities American citizens have to own, operate, and work in business.

“This is our time to understand, celebrate, and appreciate American enterprise and entrepreneurship and for FBLA-PBL members to take ownership in the rights and responsibilities to protect and promote this freedom,” said Jean M. Buckley, FBLA-PBL, Inc. president and CEO.
