Northside celebrates American Enterprise Day

FBLA members at Northside High School in Georgia celebrated American Enterprise Day on Nov. 15, 2007. Business classes were involved in many activities during the week. Classes prepared posters and flyers explaining the meaning of the American Enterprise System. The posters were judged and prizes given to the winners. Other classes created documents showing the success of famous entrepreneurs. Speakers visited different classes during the week. During the FBLA meeting on Nov. 15, a speaker from AFLAC gave a presentation on the importance of customer service at AFLAC. Business students and FBLA members also researched different careers and prepared presentations and flyers on their careers.

Members also conducted a fund-raiser during the week to raise money for conferences. This helped members to see the importance of keeping accurate financial records for a business.
