We are excited to announce the opening of the 2021 National Uniform Challenge Applications!  FBLA-PBL aims to provide one complete uniform and/or business attire for three members in each state representing our three student divisions: FBLA-Middle Level, FBLA-High School, and PBL-Collegiate.

Application Information

In order to complete the application to its entirety, FBLA-Middle Level and FBLA-High School students must complete the application with an adviser. PBL-Collegiate students can choose to complete their application on their own or with the help of an adviser. All students must be in good membership standing.

You are not required to purchase a uniform from the FBLA-PBL MarketPlace. You can use the funds towards uniform items in the FBLA-PBL Market Place or business attire from other vendors of your choice. 

Students can be reticent about seeking financial support. Advisers are encouraged to publicize the Uniform Challenge during meetings, in member and parent communications and through digital communications such as social media, group chats to encourage students to communicate with them one on one if they are interested in applying.

Yes, you can apply if this your last year in FBLA-PBL. The funds should be used towards purchasing an FBLA-PBL uniform or business attire from a vendor of your choice, in hopes that you will be prepared for the business world. 

A panel of student leaders and advisers will review all applications. Awards will be based a combination of the applicant’s financial need and demonstrated commitment to FBLA-PBL. 

No, you do not have to attend a national conference in order to be eligible to receive funds. 

The goal of the challenge is to provide one complete uniform for three members in each active state representing our three student divisions: FBLA-Middle Level, FBLA-High School, and PBL-Collegiate. Awards will be determined by the actual amount raised.

The funds are required to be used towards an FBLA-PBL uniform or business attire from a vendor of your choice. 

Yes, names of students that received funds will be kept confidential. 

September 30, 2021 (11:59 PM Eastern) 

The target date for funds to be distributed is October 15, 2021, in the hopes that this will allow recipients to purchase either a uniform or business attire that can be worn throughout the year at all FBLA-PLB leadership functions and conferences. 

  • For FBLA-Middle Level and FBLA, funds will be distributed to the school. The school will be responsible for ensuring the funds are made available to the student-member.
  • For PBL, selected student-members will choose a store and a line of credit will be opened at the store for the student to purchase business attire.
