We are excited to announce the opening of the 2022 FBLA Dressed to Impress Applications! FBLA aims to provide business attire for up to three members in each state, one from each of the three student divisions: FBLA Middle School, FBLA High School, and FBLA Collegiate.

Application Information

In order to complete the application in its entirety, FBLA Middle School and FBLA High School students must complete the application with an adviser. FBLA Collegiate students can choose to complete their application on their own or with the help of an adviser. All students must be in good membership standing.

You are not required to purchase your business attire from FBLA. You can use the funds toward business attire items available at the FBLA Shop link or business attire from other stores/vendors of your choice.

Students can be reticent about seeking financial support. Advisers are encouraged to publicize Dressed to Impress during meetings, in member and parent communications, and through digital communications such as social media or group chats to encourage students to communicate with you one on one if they are interested in applying.

A panel of Scholarship & Financial Aid Committee members will review all applications. Awards will be based on a combination of the applicant’s financial need and demonstrated commitment to FBLA.

No, you do not have to attend a national conference in order to be eligible to receive funds.

The goal of the program is to provide one complete set of business attire for three members in each active state representing our three student divisions: FBLA Middle School, FBLA High School, and FBLA Collegiate. Awards will be determined by the actual amount raised.

The funds are required to be used toward FBLA business attire from a store/vendor of your choice.

Yes, names of students that received funds will be kept confidential.

The target date for funds to be distributed is November 1, 2022, in the hopes that this will allow recipients to purchase business attire that can be worn throughout the year at all FBLA leadership functions and conferences.

  • For FBLA Middle School and FBLA High School, funds will be distributed to the school. The school will be responsible for ensuring the funds are made available to the member.
  • For FBLA Collegiate, selected members will choose a store and a line of credit will be opened at the store for the student to purchase business attire.
