FBLA NATIONAL COUNCILS

The National Officer Team is supported through student leadership of National Councils. Each officer has a National Council focused on supporting their role within FBLA-PBL. In addition, a group of Social Media Ambassadors help maintain the social media accounts of the National Center and regions. As a National Council member, students have the opportunity to serve members throughout the entire organization and make an impact on their membership experience.

The purpose of the National President’s Executive Council is to assist the National President with their duties and responsibilities listed in the Program of Work. As a National Council Member, you have the opportunity to serve members throughout our entire organization and make an impact on their membership experience. This will also be an invaluable opportunity to grow your leadership abilities, network with other FBLA members across the globe, collaborate with a team to accomplish key goals and work directly with a National Officer. 

Hello! Thank you for your interest in the 2021-2022 National Secretary’s Executive Council (NSEC). As a member of the NSEC, you’ll be responsible for supporting the National Secretary in developing opportunities and resources for our members, as well as furthering FBLA as a whole. Serving on a National Council is an amazing experience (take it from someone who served on two) and is a great opportunity to expand your FBLA journey, meet talented individuals, and experience worlds of personal growth. It is an unforgettable, unique, and incredible experience: I do hope you apply, whether it’s to the NSEC, or to one of my colleague’s amazing councils.

As a Social Media Ambassador (SMA), you will work with a team of qualified individuals to assist the National Center in developing key digital plans and online resources for members in our organization. Additionally, you will serve to help expand FBLA’s media outreach, whether it be through the National Publication, Tomorrow’s Business Leader, or social media in general. Serving as an SMA is an amazing opportunity for you to continue your FBLA journey, while simultaneously impacting our organization on the national level, gaining insight into the world of marketing and social media and fostering valuable connections.

You have just taken the first step in gaining new leadership experiences, networking with members across the country, working directly with the FBLA National Treasurer, and giving back to FBLA. By serving on the National Treasurer’s Council, you will have the opportunity to help members Succeed in this membership year!

Thank you for your consideration in joining the National Parliamentarian’s Council! Council members shall assist the National Parliamentarian in fulfilling their specific portions of the National Officer Program of Work, including spreading knowledge of parliamentary procedure and its applications among the local, state and national levels to encourage leadership development in our membership. It is a great opportunity to be further involved in FBLA on the national level and make new connections across the nation.

The FBLA Eastern Region National Council is a prestigious opportunity for FBLA members to make a significant impact on the national level. Council members will work with the FBLA Eastern Region Vice President (Jack Sabo – PA) to serve the 39,000+ Eastern Region members and the 200,000+ FBLA members worldwide. As a member of last year’s Eastern Region Council, I firmly believe that your fellow council members become some of your closest friends. Each member will be responsible for attending weekly video chat meetings, enhancing the FBLA and FBLA Middle Level experience for all members, and being dedicated to their respective positions until their term has concluded.

The council will assist the Mountain Plains Region Vice President in completing duties as a national officer, as well as working on specific tasks assigned by the Vice President.
