Note: The numbers in the Goals column correspond to the FBLA Goals.

Required Activities:


Goals Activity Action
1,2,4,5 Required.  Prepare a 30 second FBLA recruitment video and a one -page infographic about FBLA.

Target Audience: Students who are not members of FBLA.

1,2,3 2. Required. Have an alumni member speak to students about how FBLA helped them at a virtual or in-person FBLA meeting. (Upload a press release with a photo of the alumni member).
1,3,5,6 3. Required. Have at least two members working on the Business Level of the Business Achievement Awards (BAA) (Upload a document containing the names of the students working on the BAA Business Award.)

1, 2, 3, 4, 2. Sponsor an American Enterprise Day essay contest for junior high school students in your town. (Write and upload a copy of a press release with a photo of the first-place winner and their winning essay.)
1,2,3,5,8, 9 3.    Take a Virtual Field Trip and meet real-life CPAs.

1, 3, 4, 5 4. Prepare a flyer promoting American Enterprise Day (November 15) or World Prematurity Awareness Day (November 17). (Upload a picture of one of your members with a flyer that they prepared.)
1, 2, 4 5. Plan an activity to promote World Prematurity Awareness Day on November 17. (Complete the Toolkit Request form at and upload a photo and a copy of a press release.)
1,3,4,5 6. Have your members send a thank you notes to first responders such as a nurses, doctors, police, or firefighters in your community. (Upload a copy of one of the thank you notes.)
4 7. Have your chapter members wear purple on November 17 in honor of World Prematurity Awareness Day. (Complete the Toolkit Request form at and upload a photo of at least one of your members wearing purple.)
4, 5 8. Invite a local March of Dimes representative to speak to your chapter either virtually or in-person. (Upload a photo and a 300-word reflection on the impact the visit had on your chapter members including any ideas or future plans to support the March of Dimes.)
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 9.  Request a free webinar on financial literacy from Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) in the Classroom here. (Save and upload a copy of your completed webinar request).
1, 2 10. Create an Alumni Area on your chapter website or alumni Facebook page for your chapter and plan an in-person or virtual meet-and-greet activity where your members can network with FBLA alumni. Upload a photo to the one of your chapter’s social media outlets i.e. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, etc. page with ‘#Networking with Alumni’. (Upload the photo to mark this activity complete.)
1, 3, 5 11. Sign up a FBLA team from your local chapter and participate in LifeSmarts. Register here. (Upload a one-page paper describing how your chapter participated in this program.)
