National Executive Vice President

Magin Misael Sanchez is a rising senior at the University of Virginia, studying government and social entrepreneurship. Additionally, he simultaneously begins work on an Accelerated Master’s in Public Policy. The son of Salvadorian immigrants, Magin embarks on his 8th year within FBLA-PBL, having been a member since his second day of high school. Since serving as his local chapter reporter during his freshman year of high school, he has served in numerous local, regional, and state positions throughout his tenure in the organization. Currently, he has begun his second consecutive term as Executive Vice President of the UVA PBL local Chapter, the largest local chapter in Virginia, and his second successive term as State President of the Virginia PBL State Chapter. Under his direction, his dedicated state team put together two premier digital conference experiences, the Virginia PBL 75th Anniversary Ceremony and 2021 Virginia PBL SLC: Back to Business, stepping up to the challenge of producing lasting memories for PBL members amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Magin has recently served as a member of the National PBL Competitive Events Committee. Having attended seven State Leadership Conferences and six National Leadership Conferences, he has had the joy of meeting incredible people and dear friends throughout the country within the organization. In 2018, Magin had the opportunity to represent his local chapter at a CTSO promotional event with the First Lady of Virginia. In his free time, Magin enjoys hiking in the Charlottesville area, rewatching episodes of his favorite shows, Schitts Creek and Community, and enjoying coffee with his friends.
