FBLA-PBL Opens Call for Board Candidates
Association seeks a business/industry representative to join governing body
Reston, Va. – The Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL), the premier student business organization, today issued a call for applications to the National Board of Directors.
For the 2020—2023 term, FBLA-PBL seeks a person currently employed in a management-level position of a business or industry, who shows an interest in students, and understands the value of student organizations to the educational programs. Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on March 28, 2020 through the online application link.
“As the business world continues to evolve, it is critical that our association does the same to provide the most relevant experiences to our members,” explains Nominating Committee Chair, Susan Seuferer.
Members of the board work together to set a strategic direction for the association and ensure that resources are aligned with the mission to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. Additional Board of Director vacancies include a Middle Level Local Adviser (1 seat) and a State Adviser/Chair (2 seats).
