PBL Eastern Region Vice PresidentJustin Flemons
My FBLA-PBL experience began 17 years ago in 2002 when I joined my local FBLA chapter of Arab High School in Alabama where I served as an active member in local chapter activities including fundraising, community service such as March of Dimes, and regional and state competitive events as well as various local chapter officer roles (President, Secretary, and Treasurer). I went on to serve as a state officer for AL FBLA (District VI Vice President). The positive impact of FBLA-PBL was so significant on my professional development that I chose to attend Johnson & Wales Uni, a national partner, in Charlotte, North Carolina where I majored in business management. During my years in NC PBL, I continued my service as a founding local chapter member, the inaugural local chapter president, and State President. Additionally, I unsuccessfully campaigned for national office (Southern Region Vice President) at the 2005 National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Then, 12 years later during grad school at the 2017 FL PBL SLC, I was elected State President. Upon graduation in 2008 from Carolina, my first posting took me abroad where I worked as a local language support engineer for Microsoft China in Shang Hai for almost 10 years. During this period of my 20’s spent internationally, I extensively traveled Asia, managed projects in Oceania, and provided technical troubleshooting and consultation services to clients primarily in Australia and New Zealand where I became a dual American-Australian citizen. Upon repatriation in August of 2016, I joined the MBA programm at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, coincidentally, another FBLA-PBL national partner, where my focus was my vocational passion: aviation management. And I now work as an analyst for Delta Air Lines.
